Vijay files complaint over Thalaivaa song leak

Illayathalapathy Vijay starrer Thalaivaa song was leaked by a miscreant for which the makers have now approached cops to find the culprit. One of the songs from the movie was released on internet.

Director Vijay filed the complaint at the office of the Chennai police commissioner. In his complaint, he has requested the police to take immediate action against those who are responsible for illegally uploading the song, sung by the film's lead actor Vijay.

The director's PR announced the news on Twitter. He wrote, "Producer Chandraprakash Jain & Dir Vijay on the way to Commissioner of Police to give complaint against Thalaivaa. Single track piracy."

Thalaivaa was recently wrapped up and the audio of the film was scheduled to be released on Vijay's birthday, June 22. Produced by Chandra Prakash Jain, it also features Amala Paul, Ragini Nandwani, Santhanam, Suresh, Rajiv Pillai, Abhimanyu Singh, Udhaya, Thambi Ramaiah and Mano Bala.

GV Prakash Kumar has scored the music for the film, which is slated to release in August.
