The trailer of Kirutiga Udhayanidhi's Vanakkam Chennai was released, yesterday, September 6. The movie features Shiva and Priya Anand in the lead roles.

The romantic comedy, Vanakkam Chennai is also the directorial debut of Kirutiga Udhaynidhi, wife of Udhayanidhi Stalin. The movie is still in the production stage. It is said that the movie revolves around the crazy world of the lead roles, which includes romance, arguments, differences, trust care, madness and all the elements of love.

Vanakkam Chennai has the music scored by Anirudh Ravichander of 'Why this kolaveri?' fame, which has already generated a wave among the music lovers. The crew released the audio on July 27 via local FM station. The soundtrack features an ensemble of singers such as Hard Kaur, Vishal Dadlani, Hiphop Tamizha, Arjun Coomaraswamy and Papon.

Vanakkam Chennai is produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin under Red Giant Movies, which is touted to be full length comedy entertainer. It is said that the movie is based on the book 'Men are from Mars and Womens are from Venus'. Along with Shiva and Priya Anand, the movie also features Santhanam and Rahul Ravindran in the important roles.

Meanwhile, the crew has cleared that they will not involve in any promotional activities. Vanakkam Chennai, which is getting ready at brisk pace, is slated to release in October with special sound effect, Dolby Atoms.
