Kollywood is ready to wrap up the year with a series of movies hitting the screens in December. The time is now set for analysing the year and finding out what went right-wrong for the Tamil film industry.
Annually, we at Oneindia analyse the year and conduct polls to give an opportunity for our readers to choose the Best Actor, Actress, Movies, Musician, Director etc., from different industries. This year, the polls have gone live bit early so as to encourage mass participation. In our first segment, we are giving you an opportunity to cast vote for the Best Tamil Actor of 2013.
An expert panel from the industry has short-listed six names for the Best Tamil Actor Category. The names has been finalised keeping the commercial success and critical appreciation in mind. his
brilliant
performance
in
Vishwaroopam.
It
clearly
shows
us
that
age
is
no
bar
for
this
actor.
The
saddest
part
of
the
story
was
that
his
film
faced
a
ban
for
two
weeks
in
Tamil
Nadu
from
the
state
government,
which
citied
the
law
and
order
issues
over
banning
the
film.
Nonetheless,
the
film
was
overwhelmingly
welcomed
by
fans.
Surya
Surya came out with an electrifying performance in Singam 2. Knowing that audience would have a huge expectation from the Singam sequel, the actor worked hard on his looks and impressed the audience with his overall performance.
Dhanush
Dhanush had a good year even though his recent movie Naiyaandi bombed at the Box Office. While his Bollywood debut Raanjhanaa earned him a good name in Hindi films, his performance in Maryan won critical appreciation. So, he has found the place in the list.
Vijay
Vijay's Thalaivaa was not appreciated by a section of audience. But his performance remain unquestioned. His role of a leader was inspiring.
Ajith Kumar
Ajith Kumar successfully erased the disastrous memories of Billa 2 with Arrambam. His movie has become the biggest hit of 2013 and his acting with salt-and-pepper look has once again impressed audience.
Adharvaa
Adharvaa seems to have got a promotion from an aspiring actor to promising actor after Paradesi. The Bala's movie was the perfect platform for him to showcase his acting skills.
