Vishal Seriously Injured On the Sets Of Poojai!

Vishal, who is famous for his action scenes, recently met with a serious accident while shooting for his movie Poojai. The actor was immediately rushed to the near by hospital. Reports claim that the actor got 22 stitches on his left hand!

If reports are to be believed, the accident happened while he was shooting a scene at Mohan Studios, where he had to jump from an over bridge to a car parked below. The stunt scene was choreographed by director Kanal Kannan.

It is also reported that Vishal got an injury on his left hand finger, when he was about to hit the face of a stunt man. But, the man ducked at the last minute and Vishal's hand went and hit on the asbestos sheet near by and got injured.

Doctor advised the actor for a week rest but, Vishal refused to go back and returned to the sets and continued the shooting, claims sources. Reports says that Vishal was hesitant to stop the shoot as an expensive set was constructed for the shoot and he being the producer of the film did not want to increase the cost of production.

Poojai is directed by Hari. Vishal will be romancing Shruti Hassan in the film, where Sathyaraj is also seen playing a pivotal role. Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the music for the film, which is slated for a Diwali release in 2014.
