Ilayathalapathy Vijay's fans couldn't have asked for more as some theatres in Tamil Nadu opened up their counters yesterday to issue Kaththi's tickets for the first day shows. Yes, advance booking for Kaththi has already begun and the fans have gone frantic over the news.
A couple of theatres in Tirunelveli district such as Perinba Vilas Theatre and Ram Cinemas started their businesses on October 15th and the responses so far have been overwhelming. Other theatres too are expected to join the race soon and the pre-booking for the entire week might start from October 17th owing to the weekend.
A trade tracker reveals that multiplexes and other single screen theatres might make huge profits like never before as the movie has created a colossal craze among its fans. As the movie will be releasing just before the start of a long weekend, the sales might easily go beyond expectations and the theatres are bracing up for the same.
Multiplexes are increasing the number of screen counts to meet the audience's demands and single screen theatres have reportedly got the State Government's approval to begin early shows and to increase the number of shows. There are reports doing rounds that the multiplexes might even devote all their screens to the Vijay starrer on the opening and the following days.
In Chennai alone, the Murugadoss's film is set to create a new record for the number of shows screened that might cross 600 with ease. The movie which has created expectations like never before is all set to break the record for Box Office collections without even breaking a sweat, or will it?
