Kannada superstar Kiccha Sudeep seems to be on a roll. The Sandalwood actor, who is basking in the success of his recently-released movie Maanikya, has reportedly bagged yet another Tamil biggie. Any guesses? Well, after signing Illayathalapathy Vijay's fantasy movie, he has been approahced to none other than Rajinikanth's next movie Lingaa.

Sudeep has been in talks with KS Ravikumar's film (An indpendent movie) for a while. But the director has decided to go head with Rajinikanth's movie now and has delayed the Kannada superstar's bilingual film. Talking about this development, Sudeep has said that the superstar himself had called him and told that the Kiccha's film with the Tamil director would be postponed due to his Lingaa.

"We had spoken about a film with KS Ravikumar, but that has been pushed as of now. The director is currently working with Rajini sir. The great man himself had called to ask if the director could work on his film before he started work on mine. I, of course, had no reason to say no to him and happily agreed," Sudeep told a leading daily.

However, the latest development is that KS Ravikumar has modified the script of Rajinikanth's Lingaa and has decided to cast Sudeep in an important role.

Sudeep Admits

Kiccha Sudeep has admitted that he has got an offer to be part of Rajinikanth's Lingaa. But he has not decided on it, as he is very nervous.

Rajini Sir Is Too Huge And I Don't Know How To Do It: Sudeep

"As of now, I have okayed the film with Vijay. The decision on the film with Rajinikanth is pending. He is too huge and I don't know how to do it. The offer is very tempting but I am scared where I will fall short," Sudeep told the Bangalore Mirror.

I Am Scared To Say Yes To That Film: Sudeep

Sudeep adds, "Everyone enters the temple, but when you come face to face with the deity in the sanctum sanctorum, you forget what to pray. We just watch in fear and reverence. You look too small. I am scared to say yes to that film. I do not want to stand before him on the sets like a fan rather than an actor."

The upcoming movie was launched in Mysore on May 2. It features Sonakshi Sinha and Anushka Shetty in the female lead roles. The multilingual movie is produced by leading Kannada producer Rockline Venkatesh.

Jagapathi Babu

Telugu actor Jagapathi Babu has been signed to play a key role in Lingaa and it is believed that Sudeep would be performing the same role in Kannada.
