Ajith 55 To Release Before Pongal?

With a few biggies set to release over the next few months, producers of several other movies are having a tough time on deciding the release dates for their movies. Many producers are even postponing their movie releases making way for their bigger counterparts. But it looks like the producers of Ajith's upcoming movie, temporarily referred to as Ajith 55 are doing the exact opposite.

Ajith's 55th film which is yet to be titled was initially planned to release for Pongal. But now sources close to the film has revealed that the movie might be released earlier. If the speculations are proven to be right, then the movie might be released on January 9th, the Friday before the festival to cash in on the weekend effect.

Interestingly, Ajith's Veeram was also released on January 10th 2014 because of the same reason. Since the movie is almost completed, the speculation might actually turn out to be a reality. Sources also mention that the audio launch of the movie will happen next month and the team is working swiftly to get the post production work started.
