Ajith, The King Of Opening Returns With Veeram
Ajith Kumar is the one man in Tamil film industry who is referred as the King of Opening at Box Office by the traders. The actor is returning with his latest flick Veeram, which is appearing before the audience worldwide tomorrow (January 10). Like all his recent movies, expectations are sky high and in all probabilities, he is set to deliver a wonderful opening again for his film.
This time, the road to success is not smooth as Veeram is facing a biggie Jilla starring Vijay. In spite of facing such a mammoth challenge, the Ajith Kumar's flick is ready to emerge as a winner at the Box Office. We are not saying this, but the response for the advance booking reveals it. If we take this into the consideration, the latest film directed by Siruthai Siva will make stupendous collection on the release day.
A theatre owner explains, "We have never seen such a craze for tickets during Pongal festival in the recent years. As the two movies are simultaneous releasing, the fans of both the actors doesn't want to stay away from the party. The theatre owner explains, "If one movie would have been releasing, the craze would not have reached this high. Now for fans of Ajith and Vijay, it seems to be the question of pride. They just want their favourite stars' film to be the biggest winner."
Why Ajith Stand Different...
Talking about the hype around Ajith Kumar's Veeram, he said, "Undoubtedly, Ajith is the King of Opening. Interesting point that we should remember is that his films get fantastic openings and it will translate into superhit category if it gets positive reviews. But if his film garners bad word-of-mouth, the collection will see a shocking drop after the initial buzz around the film. It is not the same case in Vijay or any other stars' films."
Collection Expected To Be Above Average
The first day collection is expected to be stunning for Veeram in Tamil Nadu. But in Karnataka, Kerala and other international circuits, it is expected to be just above average as it has not got required number of screens. Telugu film 1: Nenokkadine is taking away maximum screens in key markets.

Ajith's last two movies Billa 2 and Arrambam had crossed Rs 20 crores+ gross in the first weekend. His Veeram is expected to make somewhere near to that collections.
