Alia
Bhatt,
the
new
youth
sensation
of
Bollywood,
is
likely
to
enter
Tamil
films.
She
has
been
approached
by
GNR
Kumaravelan
of
critically
acclaimed
movie
Haridas
for
his
next
movie
starring
Vikram
Prabhu.
GNR
Kumaravelan
has
confirmed
the
news
and
said
that
he
has
offered
the
film
to
Alia
Bhatt.
The
talks
are
on
and
the
positive
signs
are
visible
for
him.
He
also
says
that
nothing
has
been
finalised
yet
and
he
will
make
formal
announcement
once
the
producers
are
finalised.
"I
have
an
intention
to
cast
a
heroine
from
the
north.
I
have
personally
approached
Alia
Bhatt
for
my
film
and
there
are
positive
signs.
However,
nothing
has
been
decided
yet.
We
should
be
able
to
make
an
announcement
on
this
issue
as
soon
as
the
producers
for
the
film
are
finalized," the
Times
of
India
quoted
the
director
as
saying.
GNR
Kumaravelan
had
planned
to
make
the
film
with
producer
Chain
Raaj
Jain.
But
the
director
has
now
changed
his
plans
and
is
looking
out
for
a
new
producer
to
take
the
project
to
the
next
level.
The
buzz
says
that
the
Tamil
film
is
based
on
army
forces
and
Vikram
Prabhu
will
be
seen
in
the
role
of
a
BSF
(Border
Security
Force)
officer.
