Anjali In Shakeela's Biopic?

We have witnessed official biopic of Silk Smitha, Oru Nadigayin Diary, and unofficial in Bollywood film The Dirty Picture. Now, the latest celebrity to have caught filmmakers attention is Shakeela.

Recently, Shakeela launched her autobiography and made some shocking revealations. Now, a filmmaker has shown interest in making a movie based on it. The film will be simultenously made in four languages (Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam).

The filmmaker has approached Anjali to reprise the role of Shakeela. The actress, without a second thought, has reportedly given her verbal consent. It is expected to be a hard-hitting role and she has to come up with a power-packed performance.

As it is very challenging and there is a kind of interest in people to watch biopics now, Anjali decided to give a nod to the biopic of Shakeela. The official announcement is awaited, but the preparations for making the biopic possible are happening in a full swing. Sources say that the director wants to make as big as Vidya Balan's The Dirty Picture and draw audience's attention from all across the India.
