Anushka Shetty To Romance Ajith?

Anushka Shetty, who was supposed to pair up with Ajith Kumar in Veeram, seems to have finally bagged an Ajith Kumar movie. The actress has given a nod to act opposite the Thala in the film directed by none other than Gautham Menon.

Rumour mills say that Anushka Shetty has been approached to play the female lead in the untitled film. The actress has given her verbal consent to star in the flick. But she has not signed on the dotted lines. The Deiva Thirumagal girl is yet to hear the story but has given the green signal simply because of the big names involved in the project.

"Yes, Anushka has been approached by the makers for the Ajith-Gautham film. She has said 'yes' to it but has not yet officially signed it. Once things fall in place, she's likely to commence shoot for it from March," Anushka's spokesperson confirmed the news to a leading daily.

The actress is currently busy with Telugu films Rudramadevi and Baahubali, both are big projects. She has to do the Ajith's film in between the two flicks. However, she was supposed to star in Veeram. But she could not take up the film due to her other commitments.

Meanwhile, Ajith Kumar is basking in the success of his recently-released Veeram, which has made wonderful business in the first weekend.
