There
were
reports
that
an
arrest
warrant
was
issued
against
Trisha
Krishnan.
But
it
has
now
been
clarified
that
it
is
not
against
the
actress,
but
against
her
mother.
A
Chennai
court
recently
issued
the
warrant
against
Uma
Krishnan,
the
mother
of
Trisha.
It
is
in
connection
with
a
defamation
case
filed
by
the
actress'
mother
related
to
some
doctored
pictures
published
by
a
magazine
way
back
in
2005.
Their
legal
counsel
has
said
that
the
warrant
was
actually
served
against
Uma
Krishnan.
They
are
now
working
on
taking
necessary
legal
steps.
Uma
Krishnan
had
sued
the
magazine
in
2005
claiming
that
the
publication
had
posted
morphed
pictures
of
Trisha
Krishnan.
The
case
related
to
infamous
leaked
bathing
video.
Recently,
she
withdrew
the
case,
but
reinstated
that
the
pictures
were
morphed.
She
had
failed
to
turn
up
to
the
court
during
the
recent
hearing.
Hence,
the
court
issued
the
warrant
against
her.
Last
week,
there
were
wide-spread
reports
that
the
court
had
issued
warrant
against
Trisha
Krishnan.
Meanwhile,
Trisha
Krishnan,
who
is
basking
in
the
success
of
her
last
hit
Endrendrum
Punnagai
starring
Jeeva,
is
busy
with
Jayam
Ravi's
Boologam,
multilingual
Rambha
Urvasi
Menaka,
Kannale
Kannan
and
a
Kannada
movie
opposite
Puneet
Rajkumar.
