Sasikumar turned hero with Subramaniapuram. He has grown as an actor from strength to strength in spite of being typecast. Most of his films had rural backdrop that perfectly suited him. Now, his ambition to become a complete commercial hero is getting boosted with his latest flick Bramman.

Looking at the visuals and stills of Bramman, one could easily say that it is expensive-ever film in Sasikumar's career. And it is no surprising that the Tamil flick has got good number of screens as it is releasing in 320 screens in Tamil Nadu alone.

Bramman is directed by Socrates, a former associate of Universal Star Kamal Hassan. The film is produced by popular Kannada producer and distributor K Manju along with Anto Joseph from Kerala. The film features newbie Lavanya Tripathi in the female lead role. Naveen Chandra, Santhanam, Soori, Jayaprakash and others are in the supporting cast.

Early Reviews
The early reviews arriving from various sources are not in favour of Bramman. People, who have seen the film outside the country and who are presently watching the flick, are not writing positive things about the flick. There are negative word-of-mouth doing rounds on social networking sites. But we have to note that Sasikumar's last movie Kutty Puli too garnered bad word-of-mouth initially. But went on to make good business in B and C centres.
