The Kollywood team, which had lost the toss, had dominated most part of the game against the Mollywood team. Yet, Chennai Rhinos failed to beat the host team due to the poor performances of their batsmen.

Chennai Rhinos had bowled well to restrict Kerala Strikers to 150 runs. Vikranth, Bharath and Vishnu bowled perfectly and made the hosting team to work hard for every run. Except Vijayachandran Arun and Santhosh Sleeba, nobody stayed tall against the Kollywood bowlers.

After taking two crucial wickets in four overs, which cost 35 runs, Vikranth opened the bat and sent shivers down Kerala Strikers' spine. In the first two overs, he dominated the bowlers and made people believe that it would be a cakewalk for the Tamil team. Captain Vishal gave his wicket cheaply as he was out for just one run from seven balls.

Vishal's wicket didn't make Chennai Rhinos team to lose their hearts as the partnership of Vikranth and Vishnu smashed Kerala Strikers' bowlers all over the park. Continue reading the story on the slideshow and also some of the pictures of the match...
