Cuckoo Creator Gets A Lavish Car As A Gift

Success of Tamil movie Cuckoo, which was opened to positive reviews from various quarters, has made the makers of the film happy. As a result, they have shown their mark of appreciation to its creator Raja Murugan by gifting him a lavish car.

Fox Star Studios and The Next Big Film have jointly presented Raja Murugan a Renault Duster SUV. A gesture that will be remembered by him forever.

"A gesture of appreciation from Fox Star Studios and The Next Big Film to Director Raju Murugan, who gave us the commercially successful film Cuckoo and who also made us proud," read a statement from production house, The Next Big Film.

The young director is delighted to have received an expensive gift from the production house, say our sources. More than that he is happy because audience are appreciating his efforts and the movie.

Cuckoo was released last Friday (March 21). Critics heaped praises on the film in unison. The movie has also made decent business at the Tamil Box Office. It is the love story of a visually impaired couple. Dinesh and Malavika Nair played visually challenged couple in the film, which has music by Santosh Narayanan.
