Dhanush is a turning a year older today (July 28). The actor, who is basking in the success of his latest movie Velaiyilla Pattathari (Velai Illa Pattathari), is celebrating his 31st birthday.

He celebrated the day by cutting a big cake. His wife Aishwarya threw a surprise bash for him. It was attended by Surya, Silambarasan, Amala Paul, Samuthikirani, Selvaraghavan and many others were graced the event. This year was special for the actor as he has returned to form with his latest venture Velaiyilla Pattathari, which has made close to Rs.20 crores at Box Office.
