Dhanush Replaces Vijay!

K.V. Anand, the director of Anegan has revealed an interesting fact in a recent interview. He has said that actor Vijay was first approached with the script of Anegan. But since the Kaththi star was busy with his own commitments, he couldn't take up K.V. Anand's project.

He has also said that Vijay recommended Dhanush's name for Anegan as he had thought Dhanush would be the right person to feature in the movie and the Ayan director has had accepted his suggestion with open arms.

K.V Anand also believes that after Kamal Haasan, it is Dhanush who has an excellent aptitude to bring romantic scenes to life on-screen. Dhanush will be sporting 4 different looks in Anegan and speculations are that he might carry more than 4 distinctive looks.

It is not the first time K.V. Anand's movie has gone from one actor to another. When his movie Ko featuring Jiiva in the lead had released, he had said that the script was narrated to many actors and then Simbu was finally fixed for the role before he too walked out at the last moment. After a few hiccups Jiiva finally embraced the role he reprised in the movie and the film eventually went on to become a massive hit.
