Vijay
Sethupathi
has
said
that
he
doesn't
give
too
much
importance
to
looks
in
his
films.
The
only
thing
that
he
follows
is
his
director's
instructions.
"I
don't
have
any
inhibitions
of
how
I
look
on
screen.
I
just
follow
my
director's
instructions," Vijay
Sethupathi
told
the
IANS.
Talking
about
his
latest
film
Mellisai,
the
young
actor
said
that
in
the
film
the
director
wanted
him
to
have
a
fresh
hair
cut
and
Vijay
agreed
for
it.
He
understands
that
he
is
not
a
superstar
and
the
promising
actor
concentrates
on
about
his
performance.
Vijay
claimed,
"In
Mellisai,
my
director
wanted
an
urban
look
with
a
fresh
haircut
and
I
obliged.
I'm
not
a
superstar
to
worry
about
my
looks.
I'd
rather
worry
about
my
performance,"
Vijay
Sethupathi
in
his
most
of
his
films
was
seen
sporting
dense
beard
with
unkempt
hairs.
But
the
actor
says
that
he
did
not
have
that
look
intentionally
and
he
would
have
changed
if
his
earlier
directors
wanted
him
to
change.
"I
haven't
maintained
any
look.
Had
the
directors
of
my
previous
films
asked
me
to
cut
my
hair
or
change
my
looks,
I
would
have
changed
it,"
he
said.
Mellisai
is
directed
by
debutant
Ranjith
Jeyakodi.
The
film,
which
has
Gayathrie
Shankar
in
the
female
lead
role,
will
hit
the
screens
this
summer.
