Daisy is an upcoming Tamil horror film directed by debutant Srinath Ramalingam and is produced by N Shanmuga Sundaram and Mohammed Yasin. Srinath Ramalingam however, is not new to cinema as he has already directed his first English feature film Trapped in Abyss featuring Amber Armstrong, Bobby Hicks and Iris Karina. The horror movie was completely shot in Hollywood, California.
The 28 year old director has also directed a few TV series in Singapore and has worked as an art director for Hollywood films like Moby Dick and MILF. Since the director of the movie Daisy has some international exposure, the movie is expected to be of good standard.
According to sources, Srinath Ramalingam has been planning to make his mark as a director in Tamil Film Industry for some years now and has designed the script in Hollywood style. Daisy is a story that revolves around an eight year old girl and has a strong message that is required to be considered by today's society, says the director.
Srinath Ramalingam has also said that the team had to undergo many difficulties while shooting the film but thanked the crew members for their commitment which enabled them to complete the schedule on time. He has also said that the team's biggest strength during the filming of the movie were FEFSI technicians and has thanked their support as well.
The horror movie stars Deepak Paramesh, Gunalan Morgan, Mourhrna Aneetha, Jacqueline Prakash and Mime Gopi among others. While music is taken care by Siva Saravanan, camera is wielded by Manish Murthy and the film is edited by Harry Haran who has previously worked in the Hollywood flick Trapped in Abyss along with Srinath Ramalingam.
