We had earlier informed that the VIP team will soon be back with a new project post Velaiyilla Pattathari 's tremendous box office success. Now the latest news on the project is that the team has confirmed Amy Jackson's inclusion in the movie who will play Dhanush's love interest.

Yes, Amy Jackson will play the female lead in Dhanush's next once he completes his current projects. Title of this upcoming Dhanush flick will be announced shortly and Velraj, the VIP director is expected to announce the official date on when the film will go on floors, shortly.

It might take a while before the movie actually goes on floors as Dhanush has a handful of projects as of now. He might only be available after 6 months as he has to finish Maari, Vetrimaaran's project and his Hindi film Shamitabh before he could join hands with Velraj to bring back VIP's magic on-screen.

Meanwhile Amy Jackson is on a signing spree as the pretty actress recently has given her nod to be part of Udhayanidhi Stalin's upcoming movie after Nanbenda. According to reports, Udhayanidhi Stalin has already kick-started his next project which is titled as Gethu while his Nanbenda with Nayantara is in post production mode.

Gethu's director of photography, Sukumar of Mynaa fame confirmed the news and has revealed that the project will be directed by Thirukumaran who tasted success in his first film Maan Karate. The project is most likely to be bank rolled by Udhayanidhi Stalin under his home production banner Red Giant Movies.
