Vishal
is
an
actor
who
often
finds
himself
in
the
spotlight
not
only
due
to
his
celebrity
status
but
also
because
of
his
skills
as
a
sportsperson.
After
making
headlines
along
with
Varalaxmi
Sarathkumar,
he
once
again
finds
himself
in
news
through
cricket.
Vishal
has
given
up
his
role
as
Chennai
Rhinos
captain
citing
his
busy
schedule.
Chennai
Rhinos
is
one
of
eight
cricket
teams
in
the
Celebrity
Cricket
League(CCL)
that
takes
place
every
year.
The
fifth
edition
of
the
tournament
is
slated
to
begin
from
January
10th
2015.
CCL
is
a
mixture
of
two
great
Indian
entertainer,
cricket
and
film
industry.
Apart
from
four
South
Indian
film
industries
forming
four
seperate
teams,
Mumbai
Heroes,
Bengal
Tigers,
Veer
Marathi
and
Bhojpuri
Dabbangs
form
four
other
teams.
Vishal
was
the
reigning
captain
right
from
the
first
edition
of
the
tournament
under
whom
Chennai
Rhinos
has
won
two
tournaments.
Now
that
he
has
quit
his
captaincy,
his
role
has
been
assigned
to
Jiiva.
Though
all
players
who
take
part
in
CCL
are
professional
actors,
their
passion
and
commitment
level
are
nothing
short
of
professional
players.
Celebrities
take
their
cricket
seriously,
illustrating
this
fact
are
a
few
incidents
that
have
taken
place
on
the
cricket
field
in
the
previous
four
tournaments.
Karnataka
Bulldozers
have
won
two
tournaments
so
far
and
are
considered
to
be
the
arch
rivals
of
Chennai
Rhinos.
In
the
second
edition,
when
the
finals
was
played
between
these
two
teams,
Sudeep,
captain
of
Karnataka
Bulldozers
was
not
happy
with
one
particular
player
from
the
opposite
camp.
The
emotions
witnessed
in
each
and
every
player
involved
in
the
quarrel
were
genuine.
Meanwhile,
Vishal's
upcoming
film
Aambala
is
most
likely
to
hit
screens
February
next
year
according
to
latest
report.
The
film
features
Hansika
Motwani
as
the
female
lead
and
Sundar
C
is
calling
the
shots.
'Hiphop
Tamizha'
Aadhi
has
turned
music
director
through
Aambala
and
the
album
has
already
become
a
hit
among
music
lovers.
