Legendary director K Balachander turned a year older on Wednesday (July 9). He celebrated his 84th birthday and a party was organised by him at his residence.
His students and well-wishers turned up to wish their guru and take his blessings at his residence. Kamal Hassan, Mani Ratnam with his wife-actress Suhasini, Sivakumar, Vivek and many others graced the birthday celebration.
