Kaththi First Look On Vijay's Birthday

The much-awaited first look of forthcoming Tamil film Kaththi will hit the screens next month. The makers of the film are planning to release it on Vijay's birthday (June 22).

AR Murugadoss has given the first indication on the same as he retweeted one of his followers' post. The message read, "22nd june on thalapathy bday ,,Kaththi first look." The news has been overwhelmingly welcomed by the Illayathalapathy fans on the social networking sites.

There are reports that the movie bosses would have an event to formally launch the first look of Kaththi, which features Samantha in the female lead role. But it is not sure as no film of Vijay on earlier occasion had an event for the release of first look.

The shooting of the film is happening at brisk pace. Vijay's Kaththi audio could also hit the stands in the coming months. The makers of the film want to release the film for Diwali. Hence, the work in the film is progressing in a rapid pace.

Kaththi will be the second combo film of Vijay and AR Murugadoss. They had earlier worked in blockbuster Thuppakki, which is now being made in Hindi as Holiday starring Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha.
