Rajinikanth has done it again. The man, known for breaking records and creating history, has this time proved his popularity on internet as the trailer of his forthcoming movie Kochadaiiyaan has got never-before response. Indeed, in terms of views, it has broken the records of recent films like Vijay's Jilla and Ajith Kumar's Veeram.

The trailer of Kochadaiiyaan was released at the audio launch function of the film last Sunday (March 9). The fans of superstar have been waiting to get a glimpse of the Tamil flick from a long time and when the video clip was out, they gave a magnificent response to it. As a result, the trailer has got record number of hits on YouTube.

So far, the Kochadaiiyaan trailer has crossed 16-lakh mark, which is the highest for a Tamil film by any standards on YouTube. In less than two days, the clipping had fetched 12 lakh hits. The views for Vijay's Jilla and Ajith Kumar's Veeram by the same time frame was around 6 lakhs.
