Rajinikanth
starrer
Kochadaiiyaan
was
released
in
May.
The
movie,
which
opened
up
to
mixed
reviews,
is
ready
for
its
first
première.
Yes,
the
flick
will
be
out
on
internet
on
June
28.
The

has
been
officially
announced
by
Eros

On
its
Twitter
account,
the

posted,
"#RajiniNow

be
hacked,
#Rajini
is
back!
#Kochadaiiyaan
worldwide
online
première
on
Saturday,
28th
June
on
#ErosNow."
The
timing
of
the
première
has
come
as
a
surprise
to
many.
It
is
because
usually
production
houses
do
not
do
it
in
just
two
months
after
release.
It
is
said
that
the
company
is
trying
to
generate
extra
revenue
by
having
the
première
of
Kochadaiiyaan
on
internet.
Kochadaiiyaan
is
a
historical
fiction
based
on
Tamil
Pandya
king
Kochadaiiyaan
Ranadheeran.
Rajinikanth
was
seen
in
triple
roles
with
Deepika
Padukone
playing
the
main
female
lead
role.
Sarath
Kumar,
Aadhi,
Shobana,
Jackie
Shroff,
Nassar,
Rukmini
Sarathkumar
and
others
were
in
the
cast.
AR
Rahman
had
composed
the
music
and
Rajiv
Menon
had
handled
the
camera.
The
movie,
which
was
made
with
the
budget
of
Rs
125
crores,
was
criticised
for
poor
graphics
quality.
But
the
brave
attempt
of
director
Soundarya
Ashwin
to
make
a
movie
on
motion-capture
technology
was
whole-heartedly
praised
by
critics
and
audience.
