Lingaa's Audio Launch Date Revealed!

Songs featuring in Rajinikanth's movies are always a runaway success as his fans always enjoy listening to his meaningful and philosophical songs. Now, if those songs are composed by The Mozart of Madras A R Rahman, then the expectations reaches sky high. The next album about to be released in the above said combination is Lingaa and the next big news is about the release date of that album.

November 9th 2014, mark this date on your calendar for Lingaa's team will officially release its album on this very day. Eros Music, who initially bagged the audio rights for Vijay's Kaththi has managed to tap Lingaa's album as well. It doesn't come as a surprise to many as Soundarya R. Ashwin heads Eros Music and Eros Now in South.

Directed by K.S. Ravikumar and produced by Rockline Venkatesh, the songs in the movie are expected to have a massive range and to be of different genres as the movie is said to have two completely different era's, pre and post-independence.

It is also said that the legendary lyricist Vairamuthu has penned some songs including the opening song crooned by the much loved singer S. P. Balasubrahmanyam. Vairamuthu's son Madhan Karky who had earlier written lyrics for the song 'Irumbile Oru Irudhaiyam' in Rajinikanth's Enthiran has penned a song in Lingaa too.

It is not usual for an album to create such level of expectations as created by Lingaa which fittingly is not an usual album. The last album in the combination of K.S. Ravikumar, Rajinikanth and A.R. Rahman came in the form of Padayappa in 1999 and it enjoyed each bit of success that it deserved. It is perhaps safe to say that Lingaa's album too will enjoy a similar success considering the star value of artistes worked in the album.
