crossed
the
borders
and
ready
to
reach
different
language
audiences.
Well,
the
Telugu
remake
rights
have
been
sold
to
leading
Tollywood
filmmaker
Dasari
Narayana
Rao.
Sources
say
that
Dasari
Narayana
Rao
saw
Manja
Pai
recently
and
was
impressed
by
the
content.
The
maverick
filmmaker
liked
the
grandfather-grandson
relationship
in
the
Tamil
movie.
Hence,
he
decided
to
buy
the
remake
rights.
He
wants
to
rope
in
a
new
director
but
he
has
not
finalised
either
cast
or
crew
yet.
"Dasari
sir
really
liked
the
film
when
he
recently
watched
it.
He
particularly
liked
the
grandfather-grandson
relationship
and
felt
it
would
be
apt
for
a
remake.
He
plans
to
rope
in
a
new
director,
but
nothing
about
the
cast
and
crew
is
confirmed
yet," a
source
close
to
Dasari
told
IANS.
Manja
Pai
has
the
good
viewership
from
B
and
C
centres.
The
family
sentiment
part
have
impressed
the
audience.
In
the
first
weekend,
the
movie
made
more
than
Rs.4
crore
at
Box
Office.
The
movie
is
directed
by
N
Ragavan
and
jointly
produced
by
Thirupathi
Brothers'
and
Sargunam
Cinemaz.
