Naan Sigappu Manithan Teaser: Entertains And Introduces To Narcolepsy

One man out of a lakh suffers a disease called Narcolepsy, a chronic neurological disorder caused by the brain's inability to regulate sleep-wake cycles normally, says Wikipedia. The story of forthcoming Tamil movie Naan Sigappu Manithan revolves around it as Vishal plays the victim of unusual disorder.

The teaser, which is less than a minute, shows us that Vishal faints often, but we are told that he actually falls asleep. Whenever he experiences extreme emotion, he falls asleep. He struggles when he goes through sudden fear, joy, sorrow and anger. (Click The Below Image To Watch The Teaser)

Apart from throwing light on Narcolepsy, the teaser draws your attention with its commercial elements. It appears like the story is about how the victim survives and faces the world.

Naan Sigappu Manithan is jointly produced by Vishal and UTV Motion Pictures. Thiru has directed the Tamil flick, which has GV Prakash Kumar's music, Richard M Nathan's cinematography and Anthony N Ruben's editing. The film will hit the screens in April.

While Lakshmi Menon plays the female lead role, Iniya, Saranya Ponvannan, Jayaprakash, Sunder Ramu, Jagan and others are in the cast.
