Narendra Modi To Watch Rajinikanth's Kochadaiiyaan

Narendra Modi had met Rajinikanth recently and media had gone abuzz over their meeting citing the impact of it on the Tamil Nadu polls. Now, there is yet another development about them. Well, the Tamil superstar's forthcoming movie Kochadaiiyaan will be screened for the BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate in May.

Sources close to the movie team have revealed that Narendra Modi loves movies even though he gets a little time to watch films. Indeed, he is a fan of the Endhiran star. The politician expressed his wish to watch Kochadaiiyaan recently. As a result, the makers of the film are arranging for a special screening, which will be held in Ahmedabad.

Rajinikanth is reportedly not attending the screening but director Soundarya Ashwin will be part of it. Says the source, "Not many people know this. But Narendra Modiji loves masala movies, though he doesn't get to see many. But Rajinikanth is his favourite and he apparently expressed a wish to see Kochadaiiyaan. Rajini Sir immediately asked his team to get into action."

Meanwhile, the plans of special screening of Kochadaiiyaan, which has Deepika Padukone in the female lead role, in Chennai has been shelved. But the Hindi version will have its premiere in Mumbai on May 8.
