Hansika Motwani's last two birthdays were special for her. It was because her ex-beau Simbu aka Silambarsan was standing next to her and cheering her with the birthday song. But this was different as they have broken up. Yet, she had a fantastic day with her family and friends.

Hansika Motwani cut the birthday with her mother on Sunday (August 9) first and later with the team members of her forthcoming Telugu movie Power. The film unit had brought a few special cakes to the venue of the audio launch event. It is her first birthday celebration post her break up with Simbu.

After dating for close to two years, Simbu and Hansika Motwani broke up in November 2013. The couple parted ways for the reasons best known to them. They kept quiet on the issue for a few months. It was Silambarsan, who first spoke about it in February 2014.

It is interesting to note that Silambarsan and Hansika Motwani, despite parting ways, are working together in forthcoming Tamil movie Vaalu. The Tamil movie was signed before they fell in love. But the project has been delayed for some reasons and there are still no signs of its release.
