Rahman Is Jyothika's Husband!

It is old news that famed actress Jyothika is making her comeback to Kollywood with her upcoming movie which is a remake of a hit and critically acclaimed Malayalam film How Old Are You. The latest we hear about the project is that the team has finalized on the male lead for the film.

Sources close to the unit has revealed that many actors were approached to play the male lead played by Kunchacko Boban in the original version. But apparently all of them have rejected the role offered to them and finally actor Rahman of Sangamam fame has been roped in to play Jyothika's husband.

How Old Are You saw Manju Warrier reprising the role of a married woman in mid 30's facing day to day issues faced by a stereotype married woman. Since the movie is woman centric, it did not surprise movie buffs when Jyothika chose this film to make her comeback.

The film is directed by Rosshan Andrrews who directed the original version. The shooting of the film is well under way and the project is being produced by actor Suriya under his home production banner 2D Entertainment.
