Rajinikanth Congratulates Goli Soda Team

Goli Soda has now impressed none other than Tamil superstar Rajinikanth. The Tamil flick was recently appreciated by Anushka Shetty, AR Murugadoss and Samantha.

The good words of Rajinikanth have now boosted the team which is basking in the success of the movie. In a press release, the superstar has said that he is astonished how Goli Soda has been made in a place like Koyambedu market. The Endhiran actor has called director SD Vijay Milton and appreciated his work.

"I'm astonished how the film was made in a place like Koyambedu market, especially making those kids perform so well. I called up the director and congratulated him for the good work. I also wished him luck for his next venture," Rajinikanth said in a statement.

After getting appreciation from superstar Rajinikanth, producer N Lingusamy has said that it is a proud moment for him as well as for the production team.

"He congratulate me for backing an offbeat film. It was a proud moment for me as well as my production company. We spoke (on phone) for nearly an hour and he said that he has watched all the films made under our banner," Lingusamy told IANS.

Goli Soda has minted over Rs 8 crore in the first week.
