Rajinikanth Fulfills Dreams Of 8 On Lingaa Sets

This meet is like a dream come true for eight blind and visually challenged people from IDL Blind Band & hostel inmates, headed by Dr.P.K.Paul, Founder and Executive Trustee.

On learning in news channels that Rajinikanth was shooting in and around Mysore and Mandya, the blind students requested Dr.P.K.PAUL to take them to meet and talk to their favourite hero. Without knowing the film shooting spot, all decided to go to Mandya on road.

After landing there, Mandya police and control room gave information that the shooting was held in Melukote, 34 kilometer away. Somehow when the team reached the shooting spot, the shooting stopped due to heavy rain.

To their surprise, they met producer and actor Rockline Venkatesh, who was indeed very happy to receive the special team and treated lunch and bridged gap between Rajinikanth and the kids.

Rajinikanth was moved by their act after knowing that the visually challeged kids have come all the way from Bangalore to meet him. Even though it was raining, he came down from his caravan with the help of umbrellas, met each and every one of the IDL team members, spoke to one by one, kissed, hugged and assured to visit IDL Foundation in Bangalore someday soon.

IDL Team members greeted the superstar with roses, gifted a CD of IDL BLIND BAND and a special memorabilia embossed Dr.Rajkumar photo in the braille. Rajinikanth thanked all for visiting him.

A visually challenged blind guitarist named Manohar shared his excitement of meeting Rajinikanth, as he said that his childhood fantasy to meet his iconic star has come true on Thursday 8th Mary 2014.

Lingaa

Coming back to the movie, Lingaa is produced by leading Kannada producer Rockline Venkatesh and directed by KS Ravikumar.

Anushka Shetty-Sonakshi

Anushka Shetty and Sonakshi Sinha are playing the female lead roles in Lingaa. Kannada actor Sudeep and Telugu actor Jagapathi Babu are likely to work in the project.
