Rajinikanth has done it again. The Tamil superstar, who is known for getting great opening for his films at Box Office, has got fantastic opening for his latest film Kochadaiiyaan (Kochadaiyaan). The first day collections is expected to be the biggest in Kollywood in 2014. Well, this has given a big relief for the makers of the film.

The movie bosses and Rajinikanth fans were waiting to hear the reviews with bated breath. They were tensed because of negative pre-talks from a section of media and audience. Kochadaiiyaan did not enjoy the publicity that a usual Rajinikanth film gets from public. So, this had become a worrying factor for them.

But, the response from international audience and in Tamil Nadu cine-goers have been brilliant. Kochadaiiyaan has won their hearts. This in turn has made the movie to make thunderous business at collection centres. The film has made approximately Rs. 21 crores in Tamil Nadu of which it has made Rs. 6 crores from Chennai alone..
