Kochadaiiyaan (Kochadaiyaan) Second Day Collections Rock Solid At Box Office
News

By Ramchander
Rajinikanth
starrer
Kochadaiiyaan
(Kochadaiyaan)
has
opened
up
to
positive
reviews
in
large.
But
critics
from
Hindi
have
given
thumbs
up
to
this
motion
capture
technology
flick.
However,
the
underlining
part
of
the
story
is
that
the
second
day
collections
are
rock
solid
and
the
Rajini's
star
power
has
worked
big
time
in
pulling
audience
to
theatres.
Kochadaiiyaan
has
managed
to
come
out
from
the
negative
feedbacks
that
it
has
been
getting
over
its
animation
quality.
The
first
and
the
second
days
collections
at
Box
Office
will
be
the
clear
indication
of
how
the
people
have
loved
to
see
the
film
and
ignored
negative
response.
The
early
reports
say
that
the
film
had
80%+
occupancy
in
75%
of
the
shows
on
the
first
day
and
the
second
day.
But
the
collection
of
the
Hindi
version
of
Kochadaiiyaan
is
poor
and
the
Telugu
version
is
just
average
due
to
Nagarjuna's
Manam.
A
trader,
on
the
response
from
audience,
says,
"Kochadaiiyaan
has
turned
out
to
be
a
crowd
puller.
There
are
opinions
that
the
film
is
not
running
into
packed
houses
in
some
theatres.
But
the
truth
is
that
the
advent
of
multiplexes
have
played
big
role
in
meeting
the
ticket
demands.
There
are
plexes
that
have
completely
dedicated
all
the
screens
and
show
to
this
one
film."

Tickets
Unsold
For
Some
Shows
"Hence,
for
some
shows,
tickets
have
not
been
completely
sold.
If
you
look
at
the
number
of
shows
that
Kochadaiiyaan
is
having,
you
will
realise
that
there
is
a
good
hype
for
the
film," the
trader
adds.

Manam
Effect
Due
to
Telugu

starring
Nagarjuna,
Kochadaiiyaan
and
its
Telugu
version
Vikramasimha
could
not
meet
the
expectations.
In
