Rajinikanth-Latha Celebrate 33rd Wedding Anniversary

It is a special day in the lives of superstar Rajinikanth and his wife Latha. The couple is celebrating their 33rd wedding anniversary today (February 26).

The couple had tied the knot on February 26, 1981. They had married as per the Hindu customs. Rajinikanth spotted Latha with her friends when she had come with them to a press meet. Their friendship turned to love in the later days. Latha worked as a journalist and singer before marrying the Endhiran actor.

The superstar and Latha are celebrating the day with their family members. It is a low-key event, which is attended by the families of their two daughters (Aishwarya-Soundarya).

Their elder daughter Aishwarya is married to actor Dhanush. They have two children Yathra and Linga. Whereas, Soundarya is married to businessman Ashwin Ramkumar. Both Aishwarya and Soundarya are budding filmmakers.

Meanwhile, Rajinikanth is busy with his next movie Kochadaiiyaan. The film is directed by his younger daughter Soundarya Ashwin. The movie is a historical fiction based on the lives and times of Tamil Pandya King Kochadaiiyaan Ranadheeran. The flick features Deepika Padukone in the female lead role and Jackie Shroff, Sarath Kumar, Shobana, Aadhi, Nassar and others are in the supporting cast. It will hit the screens on April 11.
