Speculated Reasons Behind Rajinikanth's Kochadaiiyaan Postpone!
There is anger and frustration combined with disappointment over the postponement of the release of Rajinikanth's Kochadaiiyaan. The excitement of the Tamil superstar's fans was suddenly shattered last evening (May 7) with the official announcment of the delay in the release of the mulitlingual flick. It came as a shocker to many but some were not surprised by the development as a few big films in the recent years have failed to release on the promised date. While the makers of Kochadaiiyaan have cited technical issues, many have felt there could be some other reasons behind the delay.

that
due
to
some
technical
issues,
Kochadaiiyaan
release
has
been
postponed.
"Due
to
some
technical
issues
in
dispatching
large
number
of
prints
worldwide,
the
release
of
Kochadaiiyaan
has
been
postponed
to
May
23," read
the
statement.
It
was
supposed
to
hit
the
screens
worldwide
in
close
to
4000
screens
in
six
languages
this
Friday.
But
this
may
not
be
the
exact
reason
belives
rumour
mill.
Financial
Crunch
The
first
speculated
reason
is
financial
issues.
There
are
murmurs
in
the
industry
that
Kochadaiiyaan
makers
and
some
distributors
have
differences
over
the
price
and
profit
sharing.

There is also the ticket factor. All these issues could not be sorted out in time. And it forced the makers of the film to take a call on the release date.
Political Connection
A section of people are speculating that there could be a political reason behind the delay. Taking examples of Vishwaroopam and Thalaivaa, they are easily accusing the government. But sources have refused to give any importance to such reports given the good relationship with Rajinikanth and Chief Minister Jayalalitha. More importantly, the satellite rights are with Jaya TV, a TV channel that supports the AIADMK and the government would not engage in such activity.
Numerological Issues
In film industry, there are many, who believe in numerology. And Kochadaiiyaan release has been pushed due to this factor. The date May 9 was not that good for the Rajinikanth film. And it made the movie bosses to push the release. We have to note that Telugu and the Hindi versions are not censored yet.

There are also buzz that negative words from people, who have seen the flick, has made the movie bosses to re-edit the movie and delete those scenes that will not have any impact on the overall product.
