Ajith Kumar's films seem to be in huge demand. The success of his last two films attracted Hindi filmmakers and there was a huge competition to buy the remake rights of his recent flicks. His Arrambam and this year's Veeram are the two flicks, which, apparently, is ready to go to B-Town. Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar are reportedly starring in the remakes.

Though Veeram released this year, the demand was huge for the remake rights of the film. It is mainly because of the content. Hindi audience love commercial entertainers. A good storyline, masala elements backed with action often impressed Bollywood cine goers. And the Ajith Kumar's flick appeared like a tailor-made film for commercial superstars.

Soon after the release, many showed interest towards remaking it in Hindi. Director Siva himself said that while the film was being dubbed in Telugu, it would be remade in Hindi and Kannada. According to reports, a leading producer has acquired the rights of Veeram and has got green signal from Salman Khan to star in the flick.

The buzz says that Salman Khan will be romancing Jacqueline Fernandez in the Veeram remake. And his siblings Sohail Khan and Arbaaz Khan will be reprising the role of his brothers in the forthcoming flick. Continue reading the story on the slideshow...

Arrambam was directed by Vishnuvardhan. Nayantara had played the female lead role in the flick, which also featured Arya and Taapsee Pannu in the key roles. It is about an honest cop's revenge seeking story against the people, who were involved in the death of his close friend played by Rana Daggubati.
