The
Tamil
Film
Producers'
Council
has
expressed
his
unhappiness
over
Siddharth
for
passing
a
comment
against
his
Jigarthanda
producer.
It
has
told
him
that
the
producer
should
take
the
decision
on
his
movie
release
and
not
others.
Actors
should
refrain
from
going
to
public
in
case
if
differences
of
opinions
arise.
The
powerful
producers'
guild
has
said
that
an
actor
gets
his
payment
for
his
work
and
once
he
gets
it,
he
should
not
interfere
in
the
movie's
release.
The
power
of
releasing
at
the
appropriate
time
rests
with
the
producer
and
not
with
the
actors,
the
members
felt.
A
filmmaker
want
to
release
on
a
date
that
will
benefit
his
movie
on
all
aspects
and
he
can
take
a
decision
keeping
his
best
interests
of
his
product
in
mind,
believes
the
guild.
The
controversy
broke
out
after
Jigarthanda
producer
Kathiresan
decided
to
postpone
the
movie.
As
Dhanush's
Velaiyilla
Pattathari
was
doing
well
at
Box
Office,
he
took
a
call
on
delaying
the
release
after
consulting
with
the
'Kolaveri
di'
hitmaker.
This
development
angered
Siddharth,
who
was
keenly
waiting
for
the
release
of
his
Jigarthanda.
Hence,
in
a
series
of
Tweets,
he
said
that
the
producer
postponed
the
film
without
consulting
his
own
team
members
but
he
had
time
to
discuss
with
others.
