The track will be released for Simbu's birthday on February 3. It is penned by Madhan Karky and composed by S Thaman. Silambarasan himself has sung the track.

Talking about the song, Madhan Karkly told a leading daily, "This particular song was a great responsibility on my shoulders as it was originally supposed to be written by Vaali sir. 'You Are My Darling' is the hook line of the song, but the song actually starts with the words Inky Pinky Ponky."
