Sonakshi Sinha Wraps Up Rajinikanth's Lingaa First Schedule

entering
Tamil
movie
with
Rajinikanth's
Lingaa,
has
wrapped
up
the
first
schedule
of
the
shooting
of
the
film.
The
opening
phase
was
shot
in
and
around
Mysore
and
Mandya
in
Karnataka.
The
news
was
offcially
revealed
by
Sonakshi
Sinha
herself
on
Twitter.
On
the
social
networking
site,
she
wrote,
"A
beautiful
day
as
I
wrap
up
the
first
sched
for
my
first
Tamil
film
#Lingaa
with
an
amazing
crew
that
made
me
feel
right
at
home
:)"
For
many
it
came
as
a
surprise,
as
the
first
schedule
was
finished
in
a
quick
time.
It
was
just
a
6-day
schedule
where
some
of
the
key
portions
have
been
shot.
Lingaa
was
officially
launched
in
Chamundi
temple
in
Mysore
on
May
3.
It
was
a
low-key
event
attended
by
only
the
cast
and
crew
along
with
Kannada
actor
Ambareesh.
Lingaa
is
directed
by
KS
Ravikumar,
who
had
earlier
directed
successful
Rajinikanth
films
like
Muthu
and
Padayappa.
For
the
latest
film,
the
filmmaker's
former
associate
Pon
Kumaran
(Charulatha
director)
has
written
the
screenplay.
Along
with
Sonakshi
Sinha,
Anushka
Shetty
is
also
playing
the
female
lead
in
the
film.
Kannada
superstar
Kiccha
Sudeep
has
been
approached
to
play
an
important
role
along
with
Telugu
actor
Jagapathi
Babu.
It
is
produced
by
leading
Kannada
producer
Rockline
Venkatesh.
