Surya's Anjaan To Be Independence Day Treat

Surya's forthcoming movie Anjaan is progressing in a brisk pace. The film unit wants to wrap up the film at the earliest as the team has eyed Independence Day for its release.

The team has already completed 40% of the shoot and things have gone according to their plans till now. The Anjaan unit had already completed the first schedule in Mumbai and has also completed a schedule in Goa.

Currently, the team is in Mumbai shooting key sequences in Whistling Woods film institute. The latest schedule will be extensively shot in Maharashtra. Sources say that the Anjaan team is keen on releasing the movie on August 15 (Friday) and it looks like they could deliver the product on time if they continue to work at the pace.

Actress Samantha confirmed about the fast progress of the film on Twitter. She wrote, "Anjaan progressing at a super fast pace. super focused team. really happy."

On the other end, Yuvan Shankar Raja has been signed to compose the music for Anjaan. He will be scoring five songs for the forthcoming Tamil movie.

Anjaan is directed by N Lingusamy. His home production Tirupathi Brothers is jointly producing the film in association with UTV Motion Pictures. Prakash Raj, Manoj Bajpai, Vidyut Jamwal, Rajpal Yadav, Murli Sharma and others are in the cast.

The special attraction of the film is that Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha has done an item number in the film.
