Taapsee In Simbu's Idhu Namma Aalu?

Simbu and Nayantara starrer Idhu Namma Aalu could possibly feature a leading South actress in the second fiddle. Well, the buzz says that Taapsee Pannu has been approached for the same.

According to a report, Taapsee Pannu has been offered the movie to play the second female lead role in Idhu Namma Aalu. The movie bosses had considered a few names including Sanchita Shetty and Nandhita. But they zeroed in on the Aadukalam actress.

The crucial factor that made the makers of the movie finalise Taapsee to the second lead was her popularity in both Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. They felt that she has the good reach when compared with other names that they had in mind and her presence would play a major role when selling the dubbing rights . Hence, they have offered her the movie.

However, it is not clear whether Taapsee Pannu has given her consent to do the second fiddle at this point of her career as she has some interesting projects in her hands. Currently, she is working in Hindi movie titled Runningshaadi.com.
