Tamil Movie Inam - Fans Reviews
Santosh Sivan's Tamil movie Inam has been creating positive buzz in the industry. Though there is no big star in the cast, the film drew public attention with celebs talking high about the film.
Inam is a hard-hitting film set against the backdrop of civil strife. The film doesn't talk about the genocide in political angle rather about outsider's response to the crisis.
According to Santosh Sivan, Inam is about human aspirations and emotions shattered by the war, not about the politics behind it. S Karan, Sugandha Ram, Saritha, Karunas, Shyam Sundar and others are in the cast. It has Vishal Chandrashekhar and TS Suresh's editing.
Inam is based on an orphanage caught in the cross fire between LTTE (Liberation Tigers of Tamil Elam) and the Sri Lankan government. It looks at the war through the eyes of eight young orphans, including a teenager with Down's Syndrome. Santosh Sivan has helmed direction department along with handling cinematography.
