If Puthukavithai was for Rajinikanth, Guna was for Kamal Hassan. The Universal Hero's film, which did not perform to expected level at Box Office, is considered as one of the best movies of him by audience.
The story is about a mentally ill man's true love. Roshini, Rekha, SP Balasubramaniam, Girish Karnad, Ajay Rathnam, Janagaraj and Sharat Saxena were in the cast. The film was directed by Santhana Bharathi and produced by Alamelu Subramaniam.
Vijay - Kadhalukku Mariyadhai
