Vallinam: Early Reviews Give Thumbs Up For The Film

No movie in the recent months had such positive reviews from critics. Vallinam, which is releasing this Friday (February 28), has impressed critics and people, who have seen the film recently at a special premiere.

The makers of Vallinam had organised a special screening for media on February 24 at Prasad Lab, Chennai. After watching the movie, many media persons have spoken high on the Tamil flick starring Nakul.

Vallinam belongs to sports genre, which is a rarity in Kollywood. The film revolves around the basketball game and Vimal will be seen in the role of a basketball player. It tells the story of the sports, which has been ignored in India due to cricket.

However, in the end credits, the team has given a tribute to the sportsmen, who have made it big in India. Sachin Tendulkar, PT Usha, Naren Karthikeyan, MS Dhoni, Kapil Dev, Vishwanathan Anand and Leander Paes will be mentioned along with Ajith Kumar, who participated in professional car and bike races.

Vallinam is directed by Arivazhagan Venkatachalam and produced by Aascar Ravichandran. Mrudhula Basker, Atul Kulkarni, Jagan, Anupama Kumar, Siddharth Jonnalagadda, Amzath Khan, Chandru and others are in the cast. While S Thaman has composed the music, Bhaskaran has handled the cinematography department with Sabu Joseph VJ looking after the editing.
