The
actor's
latest
release
Velaiyilla
Pattathari
(Velai
Illa
Pattadhaari)
has
got
thunderous
opening
at
Box
Office
and
has
made
wonderful
collections
in
the
three
days
(First
Weekend)
at
Tamil
Box
Office.
The
response
has
brought
smiles
on
the
makers'
face.
Velaiyilla
Pattathari
got
a
warm
reception
on
the
release
day
in
Tamil
Nadu
and
international
circuits.
On
the
release
day,
it
earned
Rs.4.36
(nett.),
which
is
said
to
be
the
highest
collection
for
a
Dhanush
movie
on
the
opening
day.
The
occupancy
was
above
85%
in
the
state.
However,
the
Chennai
turned
out
to
be
a
gold
mine
with
the
movie
almost
getting
a
cent
percent
occupancy
on
the
first
day.
The
mixed
reviews
did
not
have
much
impact
on
Velaiyilla
Pattathari
simply
because
it
managed
to
retain
the
same
momentum
on
the
second
day
(Saturday).
The
turnouts
for
the
morning,
matinee,
evening
and
night
shows
were
good,
which
helped
the
Tamil
movie
make
Rs
4.20
crore
on
the
second
day
too.
On
Sunday
(July
20),
Velaiyilla
Pattathari
made
stupendous
business.
The
occupancy
was
better
than
Saturday.

in
the
opening
weekend.
The
response
from
neighbouring

and
Karnataka
are

good.

has
been
released
in
60
and

screens
respectively.

is
