Confirmed: Vijay 59 To Be Directed By Atlee!

There were lots of speculations surrounding Vijay's 59th movie. It was also said that director Shankar might take up the project if his Enthiran 2 with Rajinikanth doesn't take shape. But the Thuppakki actor has put an end to all rumours by confirming Atlee's participation in Vijay 59.

Yes, Vijay, Atlee and some prominent Kollywood personalities were seen in a meeting in which they had discussed about Vijay's next film after his project with Chimbu Deven. It has been confirmed that Atlee of Raja Rani fame will be wielding the microphone for Vijay 59.

Producer Kalaipuli S. Thanu will be taking care of the financial needs while Atlee has once again joined hands with George C Willaims who was the cinematographer for his first film as well. Movie's musical touch will be given by GV Prakash and Sreekar Prasad is likely to handle the editing table.

Nayantara will most probably join the team as the leading lady as she shares a good rapport with Atlee post Raja Rani. It is to be noted that this will be Atlee's second film and the director has a huge opportunity to dish out back to back hits with a world class cast and crew for just his second movie.
