Launching film audios in foreign countries serve two purposes. Firstly, it gives a good publicity and the second is the fact that it gives an opportunity to get closer with the international audience. So, big production houses in Kollywood had organised some events of their movies in the past. This trend seems to be picking up slowly as yet another Tamil flick is getting ready to have its audio release in a foreign country. Yes, Vijay's Kaththi will be the latest movie to have its audio release abroad.
Sources close to the production house have given a hint about it. They say that the makers of Kaththi wants to have a mega-audio release event. They had considered to have a grand function in Chennai or any other part where Vijay has a huge fan following. But as they discussed, the idea of releasing the music in a foreign country came up and the decision-making people agreed for it in unison. They short-listed a few places before choosing the ideal place for the Kaththi audio as London!

Vijay's movies often make good business in the UK. His Jilla, Thuppakki, Velayudham, Thalaivaa and Nanban made remarkable business at the English nation.
Indeed, after Endhiran and Sivaji, Jilla is reportedly the third highest grosser in the Europe. This clearly gives an indication of Vijay's popularity in this part of the world.
In order to thank them, the makers of Kaththi have decided to release the audio in London. It may be recalled that AR Murugadoss and Vijay's earlier movie Thuppakki too had got overwhelming response here.
Kaththi Audio In September
The early reports say that the Kaththi audio will be out in the last week of September. But the makers of the movie have not opened up on it as of now.
Kaththi audio is composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The movie starring Vijay and Samantha will be released for Diwali.
