Vijay's Kaththi To Clash With Vikram's Ai

Come Diwali, Tamil audience are likely to witness a rare battle at the Tamil Box Office. The clash of big films are expected to happen between Illayathalapathy Vijay's Kaththi and Shankar's Ai.

As we all know, Vijay's Kaththi team is working hard to release the movie for Diwali. The makers of the film had decided the release date a long time ago and planning things accordingly. Now, the surprise entry for the Diwali release is none other than Shankar Ai.

Shankar's Ai has been filming for more than a year. Like before, the director's film is taking a lot of time. It was expected to release during April-May 2014. But the film got delayed for some reasons. Now, the Ai unit has set an eye on Diwali for its release.

This makes the clash interesting as AR Murugadoss' Kaththi and Ai are most-expected films of the year. While Vijay's movie is an action-thriller, Vikram's flick is a romantic psychological-thriller.

Kaththi has Samantha in the female lead role and Neil Nitin Mukesh, Tota Roy Chodhury and others in the cast. In Ai, Amy Jackson has played the female lead role with Suresh Gopi, Upen Patel, Santhanam, Mohan Kapoor and others are in the cast.
